- FROM START TO FINISHING -

The spray finishing of a part may only be a portion of the work required. Secondary operations are related services that make Craddock your complete supplier.

Masking - a proprietary method of preventing paint from being applied to specific areas without the use of labor intensive taping and plugging. These "lay-in" and "perimeter" masks insure close tolerance duplication part after part.

Prototyping/mask building - an in-house staff of pattern makers can make prototypes necessitated by manufacturers' changes or to compensate for molding limitations. Also, custom metal and/or silicone masks are designed for internal use as well as for the outside market.

Functional secondary processes may include machining, inserting, sonic welding, heat staking or assembly for future component installation. Cosmetic secondary processes may include grit blasting, buffing, silk screening or pad printing.

  • 5 Separate Automated Paint Lines (overhead and pallet)

  • 4 Paint Drying Ovens (convection heat) with curing temperatures of 175°F, 265°F, 275°F, and 350°F respectively.

  • 2 Paint Drying Ovens that are a combination convection and full range infrared heating achieving 800°F.

  • 16 Stage Programmable Chemical Pre-Treat Line (phosphatizing, chromating, cleaning)
  • 14   500-gallon baths
  • 2 stage natural gas dryer
  • A state of the art water management system that recovers 100% of the effluent with zero discharge (nothing to sewer)
  • 1000-lb capacity hoist
  • 2   6-ton Wheelabrators shot peen die cast parts, conditioning the surface
